AD FIA FPSC descriptive Test Syllabus 2023

FPSC Test Syllabus for Assistant Director Investigation in FIA 2023. The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the syllabus for the Assistant Director Investigation BPS-17 post in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The test will be divided into two parts, with different weightage for each section.

Part 1: English (20 Marks)

The English portion of the test will consist of 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a weightage of 20 marks. This section will cover grammar usage, vocabulary, composition, and sentence structuring.

  1. Grammar Usage Candidates will be tested on their understanding of basic grammar rules, including tenses, parts of speech, and sentence structures.
  2. Sentence Structuring This section will assess the candidate’s ability to construct clear and grammatically correct sentences.

Part 2: General Intelligence (80 Marks)

The General Intelligence section will carry a weightage of 80 marks and will be divided into four sub-sections.

  1. General Knowledge This sub-section will test the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, history, geography, and other general knowledge topics.

Equal Weightage for Part 2 All four sub-sections in Part 2 will carry equal weightage of 20 marks each, making the total weightage of Part 2 to be 80 marks.

Basic Arithmetic The Basic Arithmetic section will consist of 20 MCQs, covering topics such as addition and subtraction, decimals and fractions, average, ratios and proportion, equations, series questions, ages, time and distance related questions.

Current Affairs

Current Affairs The Current Affairs sub-section will test the candidate’s knowledge of the latest happenings in Pakistan and around the globe. The topics covered will include politics, international affairs, sports, technology, and personalities.

General Science and Ability in FIA AD Test

In addition to the previously mentioned sections, General Science and Ability is another compulsory part of the FIA AD test. This section will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on various topics related to science and analytical reasoning. Candidates can expect questions on topics such as the Solar System, Human Body System, Inventions, Atmosphere, Nuclear Energy Fission and Fusion, and Analytical Reasoning.
