Established in 1947, the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), also known as PMA Kakul, is an officer training academy of the Pakistan Army located near Kakul village in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is the only institution in Pakistan that specializes in converting cadets into army officers.
The PMA is composed of four training battalions and 16 companies. It is a well-known institution, with approximately 2,000 guests from 34 countries visiting every year. Many of Pakistan’s closest allies send their cadets and officers to the PMA for advanced training in modern military theory.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for Join Pak Army as officer is as follows:
- Male candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply for Join Pak Army Recruitment 2023. Candidates should also visit Pakistan Navy Jobs.
- Candidates possessing Intermediate, Graduation (2 Years), Graduation (4 Years) B.A, BS, BBA, or BPA qualifications are eligible to apply for PMA Long Course 2023. Both fresh and serving Army soldiers can apply.
- Applicants must have at least 55% Marks in FA/FSc. Candidates who have secured 60% Marks in BA/BSc/BBA/BPA with 50% marks in Intermediate are eligible for Pakistan Military PMA Long Course 152.
- Only unmarried male applicants from Pakistan, AJK, and Gilgit Baltistan are eligible for this recruitment. Candidates can find complete information on the Join Pakistan Army website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
